Bank Robbery suspect identity sought

sac_sherrif_050108.jpgThe Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force (SVCTF), comprised of robbery detectives from the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department and Special Agents from the FBI, is asking the publics help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

On Monday, April 28, 2008, at 2:38 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the West America Bank located at 2893 Sunrise Boulevard.  Armed with a handgun, the suspect demanded money from the bank tellers.  The suspect fled from the bank on foot after stealing money from the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, 5 7 to 5 8 tall, with a medium build. He is balding and had dark colored hair and a mustache.  He was wearing a dark colored suit with a white dress shirt.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery or the suspects identity is urged to call the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department at (916) 874-5115, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
